How do you know its working?
Positive signs to look for are :
After Care following an Equine Touch session
Equine Touch boosts the circulatory session, which may trigger detoxification and leave the horse feeling lethargic and a little stiff in the muscles - so the horses should always have access to a constant supply of fresh clean water and turnout where possible.
I recommend that the horse is not groomed or ridden for 24hrs after a session to allow the new muscle balance and harmony to take effect. This is to allow the body time to 'process' the vibrational moves that have been applied.
Rebalancing can continue for up to one month, some horses move much more freely straightaway - On occasions it can also make them a little 'fresh' in the days immediately following a session, as the body realigns itself!
"Help your horse become healthier and happier"
One of the most valuable assets of ET is it total compatibility to complement and work in harmony with many recognised equine healing modalities including allopathic medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, herbs, Bach Flower remedies, chiropractic and osteopathic.
ET works really well with these therapies and other styles of equine bodywork.
"To help horses by educating humans"
By addressing the meridian pathways, together with muscles and fascia, The Equine Touch crosses the line between physical bodywork and an energy modality.
It can have the effect of inducing deep relaxation, releasing hypertonic and traumatised muscles, improving muscle tone, encouraging recovery from injury and muscle atrophy, reducing the pain and assisting in detoxification and lymphatic drainage by increasing circulation.
The horse’s awareness is changed and it is encouraged to re-balance not only physically, but emotionally for deep relaxation & also encourages the autonomic nervous system to drop towards repair and renewal.
